Wendy Valerio, Ph.D. is Professor of Music Education, Director of Student Teaching, and Director of the Children’s Music Development Center at the University of South Carolina School of Music in Columbia, SC. She is Alliance for Active Music Making Co-president, Gordon Institute for Music Learning faculty, a member of American Orff Schulwerk Association, and a Music for People, Leadership graduate. Her works are published in Journal of Research in Music Education. Arts Education Policy Review, and by GIA Publications.
